Who we are

Electric Events is a Melbourne based event staffing business providing DJs, bar staff and security. You can reach us at electriceventsau@gmail.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through our enquiry form. That is:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your event date, start time, guest count and venue or suburb
• The event type and which services you are enquiring about, including how many staff
• Any additional comments you add to the form

We do not ask for payment details through this website, and we do not collect sensitive information such as government identifiers.

How we use it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange staffing for your event. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who else handles it

To run the website and receive enquiries we rely on a small number of service providers:

• Netlify hosts this website and stores enquiry form submissions.
• Google reCAPTCHA protects the enquiry form from automated spam. Google may set cookies and collect device information for this purpose, under Google's own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site.
• Gmail receives a copy of each enquiry so we can reply to you.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies set are those required by Google reCAPTCHA to tell real visitors apart from bots.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to service your booking and meet our business record keeping obligations. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, email us and we will remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access the personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Email electriceventsau@gmail.com and we will action your request.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact us first, and you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
